The "try-in" appointment is the most important appointment to participate in actively. We will set up your new smile in wax, which allows you the opportunity to see them while they can still be changed! This is the time for you to view the size, shape, color and general appearance of your new smile. It also allows us to check the balance of your new denture(s) and make changes if necessary. If you have a friend or spouse who will be looking at your smile a lot and will be full of opinions when you go home with your new dentures, bring them along. At this time you can tell us about any changes you want to make to your denture. Before we get to this stage in creating your dentures, we have taken pictures, looked at old pictures and had a whole series of conversations about what you hope to see in the mirror. This step in the process is very important to help us obtain the smile you desire. Never rush this step. Many people spend more time trying on a pair of pants than their new dentures, however dentures are a far bigger part of our lives than any pair of pants could be. Together we will work to make a smile you can share with the world around you. By clearly telling us what you want, we can do our best to create it.
